Offered is an early 1800s dome top box in old salmon paint. All pine panels are constructed from one piece boards except for the two piece bottom. The butt joints are assembled with hand made square nails. The box is 18” long x 11” wide x 9" tall at the crest of the dome. With wrought iron spiral wire hinges and lock plate/hasp are all hand made. The key is not included. The inside is covered with a printed paper. There is some staining on the paper. Overall condition is very good for it's age with minimal cracks and bumps. The paint is old but may not be the original. Please look carefully at the photos.
