Handsome fold-out 1961 Sunoco road map of the main travel routes between Boston, Massachusetts and Jacksonville, Florida, printed more than 60 years ago.

• This map opens to 18" x 27" and is printed on two sides, with a series of 12 panels comprising a strip map of the best highways to follow between New England and the Sunshine State.



• The cartography is by H.M. Gousha, and the map is labeled as the 1961-1962 edition, copyrighted © 1961 in the legend.



• The front cover graphics include an illustration of a Sunoco Blend-O-Matic Gas Pump. During the 1960’s and early 1970’s, Sunoco offered motorists eight different grades of gasoline from a single pump. The driver would call out the desired grade, and the attendant would move the dial to the desired number and pump the gas.



• On the back cover there's a list of states served by Sunoco dealers.
