This book is The Missouri Archaeologist, Vol. 62, December, 2001. It contains three articles:

"Crabtree and Katz: Steed-Kisker Sites in Southeastern Clay County, Missouri," by William Angelbeck, Terrell Martin, Jeffrey Berna, and Neal Lopinot. (106 pages, the scan is from this article.) Interesting report on sites near the western boundary of Mississippian influence. Clay County is northeast of Kansas City and Liberty, MO is the county seat.

"The National Research Council and Midwestern Archaeology: The St. Louis Meeting of 1929," by Michael O'Brien and R. Lee Lyman. (42 pages) - This report describes how the meeting helped lay a foundation for archaeological research in Missouri and elsewhere.

"Osteological Analysis of Domestic Dogs from Burials in Southern Missouri," by Christyann Darwent and Eric Gilliland. (20 pages) -Describes prehistoric dog burials from the McCulloch Site (New Madrid County, MO), the Kersey Site (Pemiscot County, MO), and Miller Cave (Phelps County, MO.). Included is information about dog burials at other sites outside Missouri.

The reports include maps and drawings and photo illustrations of artifacts.
