This is brand new, fresh, GENUINE Green Stuff / Duro modelling putty of a 6" (15cm) size, 18g modelling putty (this is in comparison to the standard Games Workshop pack of ~20g in size). It is supplied in a resealable plastic bag to keep it fresh for as long as you need it.

Greenstuff is a two-part epoxy/polyamide sealant/adhesive that many use as a modeller's putty for sculpting or repairing miniatures, but can also be used for interior and exterior maintenance and repair. It has excellent adhesion to stone, ceramic, metal, wood and many plastics, including vinyl and once dried can easily be glued and painted. It is well-known for its long worklife (up to 2 hours, but recommended at 1 hour), non-grainy texture and ability to hold fine detail. Additional benefits are that Green Stuff doesn't shrink as it cures, and it will also cure underwater. All this has made it very popular as the putty for choice when sculpting models for ranges such as Warhammer, Age of Sigmar and personalised models for Dungeons and Dragons etc.

Functional cure occurs in 4 to 5 hours when it can be drilled, sawed, carved, sanded, stained and/or painted. Ultimate hardness is reached in 20 to 24 hours. Cured color is green. We recommend mixing it and applying it with hands/tools which are damp (water will stop GreenStuff sticking to things like tools and hands, but something like Vaseline works great to keep the Green Stuff really flexible without it sticking to things you don't want it to).

ADDITIONAL TIPS

Storage: GreenStuff is best stored cold (i.e. in the fridge) and this will extend the lifetime of the product considerably. Please note, however, that it mixes poorly when it's still cold and so when you take it out (or it has been lying for a while) it is best to warm it up first - this can easily be done byb keeping it in the palm of your hand for a while until the yellow side is very flexible/sticky. Not allowing it to warm up first may mean that when you mix it it's stiff and doesn't adhere to things properly.

Affixing it: The only thing to use to aid GreenStuff sticking to things is superglue. GreenStuff will normally adhere to most surfaces very well if mixed correctly, but gluing two sides of something and then adding GreenStuff in-between will provide a very strong bond once the GreenStuff has cured. Beward though - once the GreenStuff touches the superglue it will start to harden and be difficult to remove, so make sure it's a small amount of superglue in the right place.

What do you need it to do? GreenStuff acts differently if you mix the yellow and blue in different proportions. A 50/50 mix is useful in most cases, but more yellow will keep the resulting mix more flexible and workable while more blue will make the end result after curing more stiff (for cutting/sanding etc).

If you have any other questions about how to use the GreenStuff then please drop me a message, I'll be happy to help.
