ProRacing® Chip Box PD One is a functional SMD device connected in the engine compartment.
The device is programmed for use with diesel engines equipped with pump injectors - cars of the Volkswagen Group (VAG). The device is easy to install thanks to the Plug & Play system.

Description of the device.
The device is built in SMD technology. It is connected in the engine compartment, intended for cars from the VAG group with diesel engines (TDI) with an injection system based on PD pump injectors. Dedicated plugs allow easy Plug & Play installation. As a result, we modify the data transmitted between the control computer (ECU) and the corresponding sensor, including fuel injection, fuel charge, turbocharger boost, air feed rate, engine speed, throttle position, injector opening time.

Installation instructions.
Warning! Before installing the ProRacing® Chip Box PD ONE, please ensure the ignition is turned off and the key is removed.
Step 1.
Remove engine cover.
Remove the yellow plug with the dipstick to check the oil level. Check if the engine cover is fixed or clipped. Some covers are fixed with either nuts or bolts and will therefore need to be removed.These screws are hidden under small circular caps. Most of the engine covers are fastened with clips [see illustration]. Just pull the cover [1] and pull out [2] to remove it.
Step 2.
Find the indicated sensor.
The device is connected to the fuel temperature sensor [A] located on the right side of the engine on the fuel hose.
You can find the plug by following the schemes. Carefully unplug the plug first by pressing it in and then squeezing the clip. After releasing the latch, you can unplug the plug. Warning! Never pull the wires because you can damage them. In case of doubt about the location of the sensor, please contact us.
Step 3.
Insert the device according to the diagram.
The assembly is very simple and consists in plugging the device between the sensor and the plug that was previously unplugged, as shown in the diagram below.
