by the Hotel Keystone.
- It opens to 8" x
14¼" and gives a bird's-eye-view of the city, locating the Hotel
Keystone
at 54 Fourth Street, along with other features, including the Sunnyvale
Dirigible
Air Base, Fleishhacker Pool, Golden Gate Bridge, and Mills Field
Airport, site of
today's SFO.
- Other details include Skyline Boulevard, Stanford
University, Stockton Street, Palace of Fine Arts, Coit Tower, and the Transbay Terminal and ramps
connecting it to the Bay Bridgem along
with a notice in the upper margin for the 1939 Golden Gate
International Exposition.
- On the reverse side there's a wide-angle photo of the
main lobby of the
Keystone.
- Condition: This original map brochure is in excellent
condition,
bright and clean, with no marks, rips, or tears. It
folds to 8" x 3½". Please see the scans and feel free to ask any

- The brochure advertises the Keystone as "San Francisco's
New Economy Hotel," but
it had actually opened in 1913. In 1981 it was purchased by Charles W.
Mosser, and is today, after a multi-million dollar renovation in 2003,
known as The Mosser.
