Vintage fold-out street plan of San Francisco, published more than 83 years ago by the Hotel Keystone.

  • It opens to 8" x 14¼" and gives a bird's-eye-view of the city, locating the Hotel Keystone at 54 Fourth Street, along with other features, including the Sunnyvale Dirigible Air Base, Fleishhacker Pool, Golden Gate Bridge, and Mills Field Airport, site of today's SFO.

  • Other details include Skyline Boulevard, Stanford University, Stockton Street, Palace of Fine Arts, Coit Tower, and the Transbay Terminal and ramps connecting it to the Bay Bridgem along with a notice in the upper margin for the 1939 Golden Gate International Exposition.

  • On the reverse side there's a wide-angle photo of the main lobby of the Keystone.

  • Condition:  This original map brochure is in excellent condition, bright and clean, with no marks, rips, or tears. It folds to 8" x 3½". Please see the scans and feel free to ask any questions.

  • The brochure advertises the Keystone as "San Francisco's New Economy Hotel," but it had actually opened in 1913. In 1981 it was purchased by Charles W. Mosser, and is today, after a multi-million dollar renovation in 2003, known as The Mosser.
