You know what they say about great minds. Well, here at Anita Goodesign we feel we’ve assembled a pretty stellar team of great, creative minds who not only love coming up with ideas for collections, but also have a passion for innovation. Sometimes, we even get a little crazy and that innovation is elevated to a whole new level. That’s exactly what happened with Heirloom Centerpiece!
Our Art Director, Carol, wanted to see what would happen if we combined two of our best-loved heirloom techniques into one timeless project. She brought up the idea of blending trapunto and cutwork together to one of our senior level Digitizers, Hannah. After an initial (and doubtful), “You can’t be serious,” some brainstorming magic ensued and Hannah created this lovely collection!
Let the micro-stippling and flourishes mesmerize you as you stitch out these tonal designs. With beautiful filigree details and clean bi-satin stitches sealing your cutwork edges, your newest decor piece will be adored by all who come across it. We hope you enjoy stitching this intricate and unique project as much as we enjoyed the creative process behind it!
