Superb Georgian Wine Glass c.1790.


This absolutely stunning hand blown and cut glass is of exceptional quality and has a funnel bowl with good deep arch cutting above a double tapering annular collar knop, and a short stem with an octagonal cut knop. The whole stands on a square foot with a thick star-cut base.

Condition report:

The glass is in very good condition, with just some minor fritting to the edges and the usual variations within the glass commensurate with production methods of the period. Please inspect the photographs closely to assess the condition and quality of this exceptional example.
