MURANO AVeM TUTTI FRUTTI ZANFIRICO LATTICINO ART GLASS BOWL ASHTRAY

★There are 2 chips that I believe are popped Bubbles (see pics 11 & 12)★

This is A.Ve.M. Glass (Arte Vetraria Muranese) part of their "Bizantino" series  (commonly known as "tutti-frutti"). It was introduced in 1953. A similar item is shown in the book "AVeM, Arte Vetraria Muranese, Artistic Production 1932 - 1972" by Marc Heiremans. The pattern number for this shape is given as 12065/M on page 209. The bowl is decorated with silver leaf, patches of copper Avenurine, white zanfirico lattice filigree, twisted ribbon canes, and multicoloured murrines.
