The La Creole was a 24-gun corvette. She was launched for the French Navy in Cherbourg in May 1829.
This two-part set consists of (1) a 171-page hardback book, profusely illustrated with photos and drawings and a pocket at the end of the book containing 14 fold-out plans at a scale of 1/48; and (2) a softcover pictorial with a duplicate set of the 14 plans, plus a 15th plan of the entire ship at a scale of 1/84. Part of Boudriot's acclaimed Collection Archeologie Naval Francaise, the Creole was a fine example of this type of small warship.
