History:

·       In 1984, the late South American ‘Antônio de Souza Mendes Neto’ founded “Circo Editorial”, considered the most important Brazilian publishing house of alternative comics in the 1980s and 1990s. ‘Circo; featured artists such as Laerte, Angeli and Glauco, among other important names in Brazilian underground comics. Mendes won several awards between 2015 and 2011 for best Theoretical Book, Best Editorial Project, and Best Erotic Publication just to name a few.

Details:

·       The ‘Tiete Piratas” comic was actually born in 1986 and in 1990 under the publishing name of ‘Editora Circo’ cartoonist ‘Laerte Coutinho’ launched his own comic book ‘Piratas”/Pirates. Laerte’s, comics were always illustrated in his own style; portraying everyday life in a fantastic surreal way; with highly detailed art, making use of photographic references, explicit and sometimes erotic scenes; and stories all with a surprise ending.

·       The comic book series ran for (14) issues between 1990 and 1991. Issue No1 and No2 published in 10.25” x 6.75”landscape format and No3 thru No14 in horizontal format. Issue No2, 1990 with (52) pages contained quite explicit and erotic content with a (9) page section on the Phantom.

As with US domestic shipping, I also combine shipping costs for International orders. If you plan to purchase multiple items, at the same time please request an invoice prior to paying for any item.

If you reside in Australia and you have an alternate US address for shipments, please contact us for such requests. All such orders will be processed as any other US domestic order.

Combined Shipping:

I do offer combined shipping for (ALL) customers, if you plan to purchase multiple items save them in you eBay “cart” and request an adjusted shipping cost from me prior to paying for each item individually. International buyers are responsible for paying the appropriate customs charges if such apply.

Package Preparation:

Your item(s) will be packed securely in sturdy packing and packaging material and mailed promptly after payment has been made. Our goal is for your items to arrive to you in the condition they left.

Return Policy: 

We do offer a 30-day return policy if you are dissatisfied with your order. We do however ask you to contact us directly to try to resolve any issues.

Please NOTE: It will not be acceptable if anyone attempts to make a return after switching any inferior item(s) with this purchase. We take quality pictures and keep such on file for the purpose of properly documenting sales.
