A very fine oil painting on canvas depicting figures resting in a river landscape by John Frederick Pasmore.  Signed with a monogram and indistinctly dated lower right. 

Condition

In very fine condition.  The canvas not lined, torn, patched or repaired.  Clean, most attractive, well framed and ready to hang.

Artist Information

John Frederick Pasmore was a painter of rustic genre scenes, animals and still life. He exhibited at the Royal Academy between 1842 and 1862 as well as at The British Institution, The Society of British Artists, Suffolk Street and elsewhere.  His wife was also a painter.
