Condition Notes: Wholly intact & readable copy, but vintage - published in 1903. The edges of the blue cloth covered hardcover exterior are slightly rubbed with some moderate staining and some marks (liquid, food spots and minor drink marks). There is an address of a previous owner of the book just inside the front cover with some smudgy grey marks on the title and contents pages. There is a very slight pull to the binding between pages 40 and 41; and there are some small smudgy marks on pages 42, 63 and 64. There is some foxing (tanning, browning or age spots) to the FFEP (front free endpaper) and RFEP (rear free endpaper)- the normally blank pages just inside of the front and back covers

Synopsis: 
In the early part of the 20th Century, F. Russell was known in the UK as a skillful and artistic piper, with specimens of his work being exhibited at The Food and Cookery Exhibition. Reproductions of those exhibits are included in the book in black & white. In the book, Mr. Russell gives clear, detailed instructions as to how to reproduce them
