SPECIAL NOTE:  Historically carbon seatposts, particularly low cost ones have a reputation of failing spectacularly and sometimes with health consequences. This post is not the lightest but it is quite robustly constructed with very thick section of carbon fiber tube and made by KALLOY; a name you know and trust. Therefore it was also selected by the Moulton Bicycle Company for use on many of their bicycles and they know quality. This one will stand and last.

We are offering one hard to find 31.8 mm diameter Rear Offset Style, 400 mm length single bolt clamp Kalloy Guzzio Carbon seatpost for sale..The weight is just 322 grams which is not shabby for a 400 mm post at this price but is very strong. This seatpost is 400 mm long and fits  Alex Moulton TSR and some similar models, ATB's, MTB's and a wide range of road machines with oversize seat tubes. In addition it is an upgrade for many classic Mountain bikes. A 400 mm long seatpost fits 99% of most people's applications including new school compact frames with out the unnecessary weight of a longer post. It gives plenty of leg extension and lots of room for a workstand clamp. If this length is not long enough there is a good chance your frame is too small.

Few things can as easily and inexpensively lighten a bike and make it look better than by replacing it's old, heavy, worn and scratched up seatpost. This one will will do the job nicely!

For reference most early Alex Moulton APB models used larger steel or stainless steel 35.0 mm seatposts. Later the 31.8 aluminum size was adopted on the Moulton APB ( like the APB T21, R18, FX8, 3x7, S7 and others ) and the Alex Moulton TSR  ( TSR2, TSR8, TSR9. TSR27 and TSR30  )  used today.  It also fits many Mountain and Tandem Bikes.
