Loctite Threadlocker 5g medium strength


Locks and seals all metal nuts, bolts and screws by completely filling all voids between the interfacing threads. Prevents leakage, corrosion, and any movement between the threads.
Can be used on cars, bicycles, motorcycles, lawnmowers, tools, machinery, etc.

Everbuild Industrial Grade Thread Lock GP Blue 10gm

A medium strength, self curing, anaerobic adhesive for locking threads on most nuts, bolts and screws which may need to be disassembled. Examples include hydraulic system bolts, gearboxes, countersunk screws and most construction equipment. Can be used on “as received” and oil contaminated threads/nuts.

PLEASE NOTE :- that due to this being an anaerobic adhesive it requires air space in the bottle to stop the product from curing hence the size of the bottle to the amount contained within.

Also due to customer complaints saying bottles are empty !!!!! ALL BOTTLES ARE NOW CHECKED BEFORE DISPATCH TO ENSURE THAT THE CORRECT AMOUNT OF THREADLOCK IS CONTAINED WITH IN !!!!! this is now being done to stop any illegitimate claims.

Benefits.

Medium strength for easy disassembly if necessary.

Gap filling to 0.25mm.

Quick initial bond (5-10 minutes) 

Limitations.

Do not put into service until full bond strength is achieved.

Do not use on polycarbonate or other sensitive plastics.

Do not use on plated or anodized surfaces.

Always test a small inconspicuous area prior to full application.

As the manufacturer cannot know all the uses its products may be put to, contact technical services for advice if in any doubt.  

Application.

SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE. Surfaces must be clean (will tolerate a light oily film) and dry.

Apply to both surfaces and assemble components. Wipe clean excess material.

Allow to cure for 5-10 minutes before handling/light use.

Full strength achieved in 6-8 hours.  

When using on hands follow same procedure as above. Wash immediately after with warm soapy water and apply suitable moisturising cream to area. Do not use on broken or sensitive skin.
