Please note our couriers do deliver to, isle of wight, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, isle of man, Scottish highlands, and Channel Islands devon but there will be a surcharge depending on the area.

In consideration of the payment of the price by the customer to the company, the company shall deliver the goods to the customer on a date to be notified, and, wherever possible, agreed with the customer.

 

The company shall endeavor to make delivery of the goods within 28 days of the date of the contract. However, the company shall not be liable for any penalty, loss, injury, damage, or expense arising from any delay or failure in delivery or performance of the contract from any cause at all, nor shall any such delay or failure entitle the customer to refuse to accept any delivery under the contract, performance of the contract, or to repudiate the contract.

 

All dates quoted or provided by the company for the delivery are approximate only and although the company shall use its best endeavors to supply the goods within the time scale of 28 days, or any other timescale notified by the company to the customer, time shall never and not be of the essence at any point. The company shall not incur any liability whatsoever for failure to supply or deliver goods by any given or such date or dates.

 

Delivery of the goods shall be affected by the company arranging transportation of the goods to the customer's premises.

 

The company may at the company's sole discretion subcontract the performance of the delivery in whole or in part. The choice of carrier to effect delivery shall at all times be the company's and the customer shall raise no requisition in relation to the same.

 

Delivery of the goods may take place separately and on a piecemeal basis.

 

The customer warrants in entering into the contract to ensure that adequate access is available to the premises to enable the company to deliver the goods and in the event, it is not, the company shall be at liberty to deliver the goods to the closest point of accessibility which shall be determined by the company, employees, servants or agents at their sole discretion and the customer shall raise no objection or requisition thereto.

 

The customer shall carefully examine the goods upon delivery and shall notify the company of any shortages or defects reasonably discoverable upon careful examination and sign the delivery notes with the relevant damages. Such notification shall be made in writing and must be received by the company within 48 hours, commencing with the date of delivery in the absence of such notification, the company excludes all liability in respect of any defects or shortages. Any goods which the customer believes are damaged or defective must be retained together with the packaging for inspection by or on behalf of the company.

 

If the company shall be satisfied that the goods are satisfactory and are as detailed in the contract and are not damaged or defective, then the contract shall be deemed to have been fulfilled insofar as the company's obligations under the contract are concerned.

 

Returns

Please contact us within 7 days of delivery to let us know you wish to return any items. We will need to know your order reference, the model name and size of the model you are returning and the date you ordered.

 

You may deliver the goods back to our warehouse or alternatively we can arrange collection at a minimum cost of £50 which we will deduct from the refund. Please note this returns policy does not apply to items that have been specifically tailored to your requirements or special-order items which cannot be returned.

 

Delivery information

If your postcode begins with any of the following you will be charged an extra small amount.

 

This is due to the location of these destinations and unfortunately cannot be prevented

 

We cover the whole of England and Scotland, however the Highlands as well as some areas in England will incur a surcharge.

 

Scottish Highlands will cost an additional £40 surcharge and will only go up to Inverness.

England post codes below will incur an additional £20 surcharge.

TR, TQ, PL

Lower Scotland, Wales and some areas of England will incur a £10 surcharge.

Lower Scotland: G, FK, KY, ML, PA, DG, KA, EH, DG, TD

England: TA, EX, DT, BH, CT, NR

Wales: LL, SA

Returns can only be accepted within 14 days and must be reported wihin 48 hours. All items must be in undamaged and in original packaging and sealed correctly. All items will be examined before a refund is issued. Please note that delivery costs will have to paid by the purchaser and will be deducted from any refund.

We really want you to be happy with your made-to-order furniture.

If in the unlikely event this is not your experience, we will try and resolve your issue or facilitate your return as easily, stress-free & speedily as humanly possible.

Access

It is your responsibility to ensure that the furniture you have ordered will fit into your home.

It is very important that you carefully measure where your furniture will be placed and consider the route our delivery team will take to get it there.

If you have any tight corners, narrow staircases and doorways or any other access related concerns please contact our Customer Services Team.

Dimensions

When you buy from Müde, you buy products that have been handmade for you.

For this reason, dimensions may vary +/- 10mm for sizes stated.

On the occasion where space and fit are of paramount importance or concern please contact our Customer Services Team to satisfy themselves that the item is fit for purpose and available space.

We cannot be held responsible for inaccurate measurements.

Fabric Requests

All our upholstered products are available in your choice of over 50 quality fabrics.

Our fabrics vary in colour, feel, durability and composition. Fabrics will also appear different in person versus online where screen resolutions and technologies vary considerably.

For these reasons, and in the interests of a smooth experience with Müde, we strongly recommend that Customers request fabrics prior to placing an order. This service is free of charge.

Fabrics will be sent out via Royal Mail 1st class post the same day the request is received.

 

Failed Deliveries

 

If you are not available in person to accept on the delivery day and 4-hour slot we have agreed with you, we reserve the right to charge a fee of £69 for redelivery. All redeliveries will respect our rolling delivery schedule, van capacity & availability in your local area.
