Vintage Bamboo Rice Basket

This is a delicate woven bamboo reed basket.

Most likely made in China.

Finished in a beautiful red lacquer. Pointed leg corners.

Size: 7 inches across by 2 inches in height.

I purchased this about 40 years ago from an antique dealer who said she purchased this basket when she was stationed in Korea during the period of the Korean war.

Stored this as it was found.

It is in its original box with the paper sheet that came with it. I am sorry that I have no translation of the information that was provided in the box.
