Vintage 1960's -1970's Mini Dress
OOAK Handmade by a very talented seamstress. No one else will have this one of a kind dress!
The sheer, delicate outer layer is nothing short of amazing! Yellow with deep yellow, aqua, lime green and white pop floral daisy print.
Scoop neck, pleated fitted bodice with a slightly flared pleated skirt.
Sash that ties in back for a perfect fit. Can be left untied, or in a loose bow to wear as a baby doll style dress. See last photo
Lined inside with an off white/beige petticoat slip. Sleeves unlined and sheer.
Long, flowing sleeves that gather at a ruffle at the cuff.
Back metal zipper. Hook and eye at top of neck.
Measures as a Size S or approx 4 to 6 perhaps 8 . Fits the dress form very well with a little bit of extra room.
Approximate Measurements:
Chest 36" Waist up to 35" Length from collar Front 30.5" Shoulders 14" Sleeve from armpit seam to cuff 20"
It can be let out another 6.5 inches or so if needed.
Unknown fabric content. Outer layer feels like a sheer lightweight cotton blend.
Seams intact. The only potential issue we can find is that the elastic at the cuff has started to give away and loose it's bounce from years of storage. Looks like it would be easy to replace if need be. Exceptionally well made and preserved. Has been boxed away for close to 60 years so it should be handled and laundered with care.
