About this piece

This mic was pulled out from an antique electronics collection belonged to my grandpa, and has been carefully stored since he passed away on 1979.


Condition

Although my grandfather was known for taking good care for all his stuff and equipment, I am not sure if this mic works, and if it does, if it complies original specs. This is why I want to be transparent on this and prefer to catalogue "as is and/or possibly not working".

The microphone looks and feels new, I think this piece has never been used. The end of the cable that connects to your audio equipment is still bare, waiting for the user to select a connector and solder it.

This is a quality and sturdy equipment, made in the United States of America, so there is a very good chance that no matter how many years this microphone has been stored, you'll find this piece working just fine!

However, given the nature of vintage equipment, any fix or maintenance should be considered and covered by the new owner.

Model 641
Designed for conventional stand mounting, the 641 is durably constructed of die-cast zinc and high impact Cycolac. The fixed-tilt design places the microphone at the most convenient operating angle. A slide on-off switch and 16-foot cable are included. The striking two-tone styling enhances appearance in any application.
