The Intrasonic Retrofit Room Station is designed to be installed using existing wiring and can operate on 3, 4, 6 or 7 wires. 

This unit supports 8-ohm ceiling or in-wall speakers. 

The RETRO-5R features hands free communication, station tuning at the room station, optional door release, and the ability to monitor individual or multiple rooms. 

The intercom broadcasts to every room until the call is answered. Once answered, the automatic selective call function will make the conversation private between the two parties. 

You have a choice of 2 different music sources (radio or auxiliary input) in each room, so you can listen to the radio in one room and an MP3 player in another.
