Hard to find Original and scarce Swiss M1875 Sawback Pioneer Sword with M1892 Cruciform Bayonet. The sword is in excellent condition with some very light wear. Blade is full and measures 19 3/4" up to the brass hilt. The handle is also excellent with no damage. All of the teeth are fully intact. The blade is marked Gebr. Weyesberg Solingen with a Swiss cross on one side and 2064 and 80 on the reverse. The cruciform bayonet is 20" long and is marked 112195. It is also in excellent condition with very light pitting in a couple of places on the handle area. The The scabbard is marked with a Swiss cross and the letter B. Also marked Jos. Ullmann Sattler Eschenz Thurgau 1884. The upper leather strap that holds the bayonet is detached. The brass tip for the sword has a couple of minor dings. Overall a very rare item and almost impossible to find together.
