These classy diamond solitaire studs are the very epitome of good taste. They are set with a pair of certificated, natural, earth-mined princess cut diamonds. These diamonds weigh a considerable total of 2.00 carat (1.00 carat per diamond).
Modern princess cut diamonds integrate the incredible fire that is associated with the round brilliant cut, with the contemporary appearance of a square stone. The princess cut was designed for achieving maximum brilliance from a square cut gemstone. Their flat tables also act as windows into the diamonds' centres, allowing one to see the true, animated, beauty of the gems. The flat tables also create the illusion of the diamonds weighing more than their true carat-weight.
These diamonds are of exceptional white colour D, which means that they the most perfect white colour possible. Their colour could not be improved upon and this is the highest colour grade that any diamond can be awarded.
They are of perfect internally flawless (IF) clarity. Therefore, they are totally transparent diamonds, completely free of inclusions. This is the highest possible diamond clarity-grade. (Please see chart below for further information on colour and clarity.)
These diamonds have very good finish grade. In addition to diamonds' colour, clarity and carat-weight, the finish grade (quality of cut, symmetry and polish) also makes an enormous difference to the overall brilliance and lustre.
The earrings and backs are very well-made of solid, fully-hallmarked platinum 950, the noblest of the precious metals. When you wear platinum, the other precious metals fade in significance: It is non-allergenic and has a density and richness that is second-to-none. Its natural whiteness is permanent, requiring no maintenance whatsoever.

The EDR diamond certificates supplied with these studs state that the diamonds are of the quality indicated above.
An appraisal for insurance purposes is also supplied, valuing the earrings at £52,450.
