Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful set of nine solid 800-grade silver fish or dessert knives, made by August Timm of Germany, c-1900. The knives have been produced in a threaded Old English-style design, featuring hollow handles and bright cut blades with floral and leaf themes. The quality is superb throughout, with the knives of single-piece construction and excellent proportions. Condition is good used, with no major damage to note. One knife features a monogram to the tab, with each being identically hallmarked to the blades. A very fine and practical set for the collection.

Each knife measures 20cm long, with the set weighing in at a respectable 368gms unpacked.

Sterling silver offered at William Sharpe Antiques is original and authentic, showing signs of use over its life. Unless expressly stated above, all pieces are free from major structural damage. However, normal signs of use including shallow depressions, fine scratches, and minor pattern and hallmark wear should be expected. All pieces (unless expressly stated above) have undertaken a very light polish with respect to the original patina, and a decision for further polishing will be left to the new custodian.
