Hellfire Retractor Set – String Spreaders

A fantastic tool set that makes fretboard work and maintenance a breeze.

Made from the highest quality brass and designed to fit behind the neck and hold the strings away from the fretboard for easy access.   Our brass spreaders are strong enough to hold the strings back but (unlike steel) they can be carefully molded to match different neck profiles.

The Hellfire Retractor pickup spreader is a tool you can use on your guitar bridge that serves two purposes.  Firstly, if you loosen the guitar strings enough you can gain access easily to the pickups (for cleaning and maintenance).  Secondly, when used in conjunction with the full set you can clear the strings totally away from your guitar neck to aid cleaning and repair.
