Here is a great issue of the SCHOLASTIC PUBLISHING Mad Magazine-like HUMOR magazine entitled BANANAS. Published as a competitor to the much more successful MAD MAGAZINE, this is issue number 70 from 1984. Many of the stories, comics and satire is done in the same MAD style and this issue has a cover and a spoof of the hit comedy series 3's COMPANY. There are also spoofs of SICKEST GET WELL CARDS, YOU KNOW YOUR BASKETBALL TEAM IS IN TROUBLE WHEN..., DOCTOR DUCK and much more. The magazine is in color and black and white, is 44 pages in length and does have a mailing label on the back cover. The magazine is in nice condition, with light bumping to the cover edges and corners and still very tight binding. There are NO tears! There is some light aging to the some page edges. A beauty! A great item for the humor magazine fan!
