Beautiful Pair of Vintage Asian Antique Porcelain Bisque Handpainted Nodder Nodding Figurines depicting Musician Pianoplayers in traditional Robes and Hairdress.

These adorable masterful crafted Nodders are very intricate, detailed and both are cool, colorful, and pieces like these are a rare find.
The heads and the hands move as if playing the piano with open Music Notes laying on the keyboard.
Each Figurine piece measures 7 1/2" wide x 8/12" high.
I bought them in New Orleans in the 80s and was told they are a pair Bisque Nodders made in Japan  or China in the late 19th century.
...I just know that I loved and enjoyed them so much over the years.  I left their place of honor (on top of my piano) behind, since I recently retired and am downsizing to 'fit' into my condo:)) and had no longer a place for a piano, but if you have a piano you will enjoy seeing them accompanying you while approvingly nodding and hear them clinking softly and sweetly to your music.
The Pair is in generally great condition with all original parts present and working. No chips or cracks but the left hand of the man shows a faint line..see pictures..could be just in the design or coloring. The bottom of the head tubes were closed at one time with paper, one peeled off.
Pieces like these are Museum items, rare and highly sought after by collectors.
