LARGE ANTIQUE 1890 PEWTER TROPHY CHRIST COLLEGE CAMBRIDGE Trial Eights

An impressive looking antique pewter trophy which was given to the winning team of the Trial Eights in 1890.  It is engraved with a Coat of Arms on one side and the other side is inscribed to Christ College with team members:-

An interesting historical item, especially for those with an interest in Rowing and Cambridge University.

Condition:-  good antique condition, with signs of age and use.  The glass base is fully intact with no damage.  The rim is out of round (see photos), however it displays very well.

Size:-  17cm (6.75 inches) high

The trophy has a glass base.
