NECKLACE & A ONE OF A KIND!
This
sale is to purchase a really stunning antique Art deco period bib collar
necklace & brooch combination set with large spherical rose quartz beads
divided by smaller amethyst and smaller colorless quartz beads. The beads are
centered by a sterling silver marquisate studded plaque with a polished rose
quartz plaque to the center. This also serves as a brooch and is fitted with a
locking clasp. This fabulous jewel dates from c1930’s and weighs a total of
85.31 grams.
About:
This quirky jewel, is in truly remarkable order, is stamped LCW & sterling
silver and is thought to be made by American jewelers Wolfson Inc. – Louis C.
(LCW) but sadly other information is not available. Further research in the
U.S.A. may be possible? The style is
typical of the C1920/30’s when this jeweler was operating.
This necklace: measures 14.0’’
in length including the clasp. The large clasp measures 1.75’’ wide and is 1.0’’
long. The largest beads are 0.45’’ in diameter. The brooch has an overall depth
of 0.25’’. The combined weight is 85.31 grams.
Condition:
This
item is in excellent antique condition 1/2. The overall condition is excellent
with only slight surface scratching to some of the beads with 6 of the larger
beads showing minor surface losses. The center plaque is undamaged and only
shows minor surface scratching. The metal work is in excellent order and all of
the marks are visible. The clasps are excellent. Please see photos? All of our jewelry

offered, the shipping will be by Royal mail standard 1st class mail, which takes

will mail items by Royal Mail Signed for, which is a trackable service or by

Returns & Refunds
