Multiple seat colors available. The seat will be professionally refurbished, in the seller's shop with brand new MBTEX seat covers and all original parts (no aftermarket parts used). Seller can use either 5-pleat or 6-pleat cover, depending on your specific needs/requirements. Seller will use the best passenger seat bottom spring and passenger seat back spring, which are the least used seat, and has transplanted them to make a proper driver's seat. This way, the buyer will get a true, "as good as new" feeling of the driver seat, as Mercedes intended.
If desired, seller can also do a matching passenger seat for you as well (inquire).
It is nearly impossible to find outstanding, original front driver seats....until now.
These w123's are some of the best cars on the market and the best single thing that you can do to improve your enjoyment of the car is to swap in a properly restored driver seat, such as this one.
NOTE #1: This is a custom built seat, built to order. I do not know in advance what stitch pattern your vehicle has or what your requirements are. There will be a 30-40 day lead time until your seat is ready. Good quality craftsmanship takes time and is worth the wait.
The seat is built in the shop and the work is not "outsourced" to hack upholstery shops who don't know what they're doing and/or who think that stuffing tons of padding into the seats to mask broken springs is a good repair. None of that here.
Seller also stocks a variety of decent "used" covers, but none of them will be quite as nice as brand new covers. I can put those on if you want to save some money.
NOTE #2: if you need a seat custom made in a different color (i.e. palomino, black, green, henna red, etc), please let me know and I can arrange that for you. Inquire.
NOTE #3: THERE IS A REFUNDABLE CORE CHARGE OF $60 for your original armrest. You will need to specify if your armrest is early style (thicker, with no big black push button) or later style (with the big black push button) so that I can send you the correct armrest for your vehicle.
NOTE #4: This seat will not include any plastic trim that goes on the sides of the seat. It will not include the seat back map/magazine pocket. There are two variations of this and the buyer will need to specify which style of seat map pocket their vehicle comes with as there is slight variation between seat backs.
NOTE #5: Stock photo of my previous work is shown. Your seat will look similar. This particular seat is an earlier w123 seat with 5-pleats rather than the 1984/1985 w123's seats which have 6-pleats. I can rebuild seats in either style.
NOTE #6: This listing is for a w123 sedan or wagon front driver seat. It will not work in coupes. I can make a seat for a coupe, but the cost will be higher due to limited availablity of good used parts.

Front Driver seat with brand new seat covers installed and all original parts underneath: slides, rails, handles, cushions, and springs are all original. No aftermarket padding is used underneath the covers and no modifications are made to the springs. Only the best springs and best horse hair pads are used. The seat will feel exactly as it was when it left the factory.
Seller will use only excellent used passenger seat springs to create one outstanding "good as new" driver seat. There are absolutely no broken springs and the seat will feel as intended from the factory and be extremely comfortable. (No "pool noodles" or additional stuffing was used). No shortcuts are taken and no corners are being cut.
Seller has lubricated all slides and the seat back adjustment knob has been professionally moved to be in the "proper" driver-side position. Seat will ship with the upper/bottom unbolted, as shown in the last photo in the slideshow.
Everything has been restored to make the seat feel as if it just left the factory assembly line. No "pool noodles" or "sofa stuffing" or other "hack" repairs were needed/used, as some "hack and pack" upholstery shops will do. Seller does not cut corners. Sure, these "bandaid repairs" will be better than nothing, but the seats feel lumpy or too firm, and not as Mercedes engineers originally intended. I take great care with my work and in trying to preserve these cars and this seat will feel as they if left the factory.
Seller completely disassembles the seat prior to re-assembly. Every rail, every spring, every nut and bolt was removed during this process and this takes quite a bit of time/experience to do correctly.
To keep the package size down, the seat will ship with the upper/bottom unbolted, as shown in the last photo.

As you can imagine, the shipping for the full seat is oversized, so the shipping "is what it is" and I cannot "work with you" on the shipping
Local buyers are, of course, welcome to pick up to waive shipping charges, but all transactions must be completed through ebay's system.

Shipping price listed is good for contiguous USA only. Outer areas such as Alaska/Hawaii/PR are possible, but at considerably higher cost. Inquire if this is the case for you.
Due to large size of this item, the shipping will most likely be via greyhound bus which will require the buyer to pickup the item at their nearest greyhound bus station. Greyhound shipments typically can take as long as "approximately" 30 business days to arrive. They give no guarantee delivery date and neither do I. Greyhound does offer door-to-door courier service at the buyer's choice (and expense) once the item arrives to the buyer's home bus terminal.
Expedited service is possible via LTL truck freight at approximately 2-3x the listed rate. Inquire if "rush" service is needed. Rush service is always available if you're willing to pay for it.
