Condition:
Generally excellent vintage condition commensurate for age and use.  No crazing, chips, fractures or discolouration.   Teeny loss of blue to the rim (see main photo at 3 o clock) and one teeny black spot to the bowl interior, hardly noticeable...  Great collectable item.

Additional Info:

Foley china was originally founded in 1860 in Staffordshire by the Wileman family. After an official name change to Shelley in the mid 1920's the company expanded it's already successful export market and the Shelley brand was born.
Shelley wares are highly prized by collectors worldwide for the high quality of their bone china and extensive design range, particularly their Art Deco designs.

'Phillips of London' department store was established in 1760... retailing china and glass.  Their advertised premises were 'next to the Pantheon' an elegant description of a Hypermarket... for their well heeled clientele.  The store did relocate several times in London to upmarket addresses ie Bond St, Regent St and Grosvenor Square.

Lawleys was also a retailer, established in 1884 in a jewellery shop in Birmingham by Edgar Lawley.  Expansion followed the years and a single shop became a chain located around the country.  The business was passed down through family members and the eventual acquisition of several pottery factories were added.  Further mergers and acquisitions through the 20th century are too numerous to mention... by the 1970s the company was operating under the Royal Doulton brand.
