this indexed travel guide to the United States, with 16 large-format,
fold-out
maps, printed on durable, plastic-coated paper, in excellent, like-new
condition.
- The hardcover book measures
9" x 6", with 208 pages. There's
a large map of the entire U.S., drawn on a scale of 1:4,560,000, or 72
miles to the
inch. It shows roads, cities, towns, airports, and natural features.
- There are 15 handsome state and regional maps, each of
which opens
to a generous 35" x 23", and is beautifully illustrated on the reverse
side.
- All of the maps fold up and fit comfortably in a sturdy,
lidded plastic box, along with the book and a clear plastic
"Mile-o-meter," used to measure
distances and driving times.
- The box itself measures 10" x 6½" x 3" and weighs a bit
more than 4 pounds when all of its contents are nestled inside.
- Condition: Book, maps, box, and accompanying
materials are all in excellent,
like-new condition, bright and clean, with no
marks, rips, or tears.
