GORGEOUS HAND PAINTED 1920'S CZECH DRESSER BOX LARGE SIZE

This is one of a large collection that I was able to buy years ago, all from the same time frame, early 1920's, from Czechoslovakia (I have 2 others listed from this collection).  It measures 4 1/2" wide and is 3" high to top of knob.

This lovely and charming dresser box could also be used for loose powder and trinkets.  The background is painted with a soft plum color and then it is over painted with a ring of large romantic roses around the top.  There is a black knob, and the top and bottom rims have a thin painted black stripe.

Around the base there is a hand painted string of leaves and thorns that matches the color of the roses on top.

(This piece is in super condition with no chips, cracks or flea bites!  I'm sorry for the reflection in some of the pics).
