Here today for your consideration we have this wonderful Art Deco sterling silver napkin ring, made by Edwin Harrop of Australia, c-1940's. The ring features an octagonal shape with engine turned detail, being of very good quality and gauge throughout. Condition is good used overall, with no major damage to note. The ring features a well executed monogram to the cartouche, with the hallmarks about 80% overall. A great piece of silver for the collection.
The ring has a band width of 25mm and measures 54mm x 32mm across the opening. Unpacked, it weighs in at 35gms.

Sterling silver offered at William Sharpe Antiques is original and authentic, showing signs of use over its life. Unless expressly stated above, all pieces are free from major structural damage. However, normal signs of use including shallow depressions, fine scratches, and minor pattern and hallmark wear should be expected. All pieces (unless expressly stated above) have undertaken a very light polish with respect to the original patina, and a decision for further polishing will be left to the new custodian.
