INTRODUCTION / SUMMARY
This is where it ALL BEGAN, “LIVE IT” is THE most sought-after A&F Quarterly productions, the PREMIERE ISSUE, Fall 1997. It is the FIRST ISSUE of the Abercrombie & Fitch Quarterly publications, and where Bruce Weber started his highly successful affiliation with Abercrombie & Fitch.
This Issue set the stage for a long, highly successful (and controversial) sales product launch, which lasted through 2004 (longer with Bruce Weber as a consultant). Weber contributed incredible creative brilliance to the product Brand throughout the A&F Quarterly where he was a participant, as well as later years.
This PREMIERE ISSUE “Live It.” Fall Quarterly 1997, is a “Store Copy” and has not been preowned other than by our Store. It is offered in Like New condition, BUT it has one unfortunate defect on the front cover, that being a 1” tear, which can be seen in the photographs of the catalog’s cover in the provided auction pictures. That’s like the ONLY defect… The fact that this catalog is 25 years old and in this “amazing” not used condition, with the edges sharp, the spine solid, the binding sharp, and the spine hardly even creased, is a testament to how beautifully it has been cared for over the years. It is a true collectible catalog if the small tear can be accepted. Being an A&F Store copy is an incredible benefit, so no address label to deal with on the back cover. The catalog has been carefully preserved in a non-smoking, humidity-controlled environment since its publication, or since we purchased it from the Abercrombie Store. It is NOT used. The catalog measures 11 x 9 inches (28 x 23 cm), and has 130 pages of color and duotone photography, mostly full-bleed images, with many spanning 2 pages. The shipping weight is 1.8 pounds with packing materials.
