The sugar bowl is from the iconic 'Orchard Gold' dinner and teawares collection first produced in the early 1930s. The Orchard Gold range was so popular it was produced for over 50 years.. production ceased in 2015.
Decorated with vibrant Summer Fruits and Vines on an Ochre background, the transfer print is further hand-painted with touch-ups and enhancements. This sugar bowl is beautifully finished with a solid (not stripe) gilded handle and gilt trim. Further decoration to the lid completes the sugar bowl.

In excellent as new condition... still has foil sticker attached... being picky there is a teeny tiny spot of colour missing on a pear on one side side... (see third photo) Beautiful item and ready to use... a rare item!
