A fun group of two swag style beaded flapper purses from the 1910-1920's era that the maker never finished.

The black and crystal purse has really nice, bright black silk purse twist in the body, no holes noted. 1-2 loose swags that just need to be sewn through and tightened a bit. The top edge is frayed a bit but the frame would cover that up. Came to me with the frame shown, which is a straight frame that opens outward. It measures 6 1/8" across the bottom edge.

The pink and white purse body needs to be sewn up on both sides. One side has a lot of silk thread tied off, could be cut well above the knots and sewn to the inside, then a lining would cover over it. The small frame that came with it is only 4" across. Probably meant to be a child's purse, perhaps. Would be cute for a little one to carry!

No returns so be sure you see photos which are part of the description. The frames alone are worth more than this entire lot is priced.
