This touchscreen head unit provides wired Apple Carplay and Android Auto to your Volkswagen Polo (2010-2014) without a touchscreen. For 2014-2017 and touchscreen cars, fitting this unit is also possible - send a message.

The images are from a Mk6 Golf, but the head unit will function identically in a Mk5 Polo.

This lets you use your favourite mapping apps, play music, make calls, send messages, and use voice commands, all through your phone's familiar software, just by plugging in a USB cable.

A 12-month warranty is included, as is fitting and delivery at a date and time of your choice within London and within 25 miles of the M25. If you wish to install the item yourself, or are too far for fitting to be a viable option, it will be posted free with Royal Mail First-Class Signed Delivery, along with a fitting kit with the required tools, parts, accessories, and instructions for you to do so. This unit was created for foreign-market VW cars which are made and sold new but still use the 2010-2016 VW architecture. As such, it has modern features such as Apple Carplay and Android Auto, but is compatible with older VWs such as the Mk6 Golf, Tiguan, Polo Mk5, and Scirocco Mk3. If you're unsure about your car's compatibility, please send a message including your model, year of manufacture, and a photo of the current head unit. The head units that this can replace are the VW RCD 310 and the VW RCD 510, as well as the 2014 onwards Polo touchscreen head unit.

Due to being a VW part, the steering wheel controls retain all functionality, and it looks like an original factory stereo unit.

The vehicle's existing radio antenna is compatible with the unit, maintaining AM/FM functionality, and the unit has its own Bluetooth module, meaning it is not reliant on having one in the car already. It is also compatible with a reversing camera and with parking sensors, although those items are not included.
