The Calypso ultrasonic wind speed and direction anemometer is a wind vane designed for better performance in rain, this being a key point for static applications such as weather stations. The ULP represents an important technological advance that condenses a large investment in R&D that leads us to a new generation of ultrasonic wind meters.

Maximum performance even in the rain: Both the design of its shape and its firmware have been improved to obtain greater performance in the rain, this being a key point for both static applications and weather stations.
NMEA Connection: The anemometer connects to an external display or network via the NMEA Connect Plus connector, which will display both true and apparent wind direction and speed. The NMEA Connect Plus is independent of the Ultra Low Power Ultrasonic RS485 and must be purchased separately.
