Up for bid is a fine Russian 84 zolotniki sugar tongs from the 1908-1917 period by Imperial jeweler Ivan Khlebnikov.  The piece is 5 7/8 inches long and weighs 62 grams. The piece has shaped grips with waffle-pattern interiors and nicely patterned arms.  The interior surfaces are gilded, but the outside is not for some reason.  It has not been monogrammed.  It is marked inside the bend with an imperial warrant eagle over “I Kh”, with and 1908-17 assay mark.

Condition on the tongs is quite good.  There is just normal wear from use.  A fine piece of Russian silver.
