To achieve this optical performance, this binocular features anti-reflection fully multi-coated extra-low dispersion (ED) glass with dielectric and phase-correcting coatings on the BAK4 prisms. The optical tubes are nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed to make them waterproof and resistant to internal fogging when moving through extreme changes in temperature or environmental conditions. Celestron includes tethered front and rear lens caps to add an additional layer of protection in the field, with the ability to quickly react to glassing opportunities without fear of losing the caps. Also included is a harness system that keeps the TrailSeeker close to your chest so it won't hang and sway dangerously when you move over rough or rocky terrain, while also redistributing its weight off your neck to your shoulders to make carrying it all day much more comfortable.
