Lavender essential oil is commonly used by soap and candle makers for it's scent.  Lavender essential oil has a citrus-like high note.

Common Uses:  
Lavender essential oil promotes relaxation and believed to treat anxiety, fungal infections, allergies, depression, insomnia, eczema, nausea, and menstrual cramps.

Common Applications: 
To use lavender oil for acne, dilute it in coconut oil or another carrier oil and apply it to your skin after washing your face.

Blends well with the following essential oils: 
Bay, Bergamot, Chamomile, Citronella, Clary Sage, Geranium, Jasmine, Lemon, Mandarin, Orange, Palmarosa, Patchouli, Pine, Thyme, Rosemary, Rosewood and Ylang-ylang.
