 This vintage Fine Condition clipped print ad for PURINA DOG CHOW offers

THE DOCTOR DOLITTLE AND HIS ANIMAL FRIENDS ADVENTURE SET

for $ 1.50 plus one weight circle. The set included a Doctor Dolittle marionette 

and 8 plastic animals.  A great promotional tie-in for the 1968 film starring Rex Harrison.

This advertisement was taken from the Sunday Comics Section of a 1968 newspaper

and measures approximately 13½ x 7½ inches.
