Up for bid is a youth fork in the FLORENTINE pattern by John R. Wendt, introduced around 1870.  The piece is 5 7/8 inches long with a downturned tip and weighs 26 grams.  It is monogrammed “H” on the handle front and “Alice” on the back. The piece is marked “HART BROTHERS", “STERLING” and “PATENT” as shown.

Condition on the fork is good.  There is some tine wear and normal signs of use.  A fine fork in a great old pattern!
