This display features the following
- Ancient Roman Pottery Unguentarium Neck Fragment
- 3 x roman coins
- Roman bronze ring
2 of the coins are in excellent condition (considering their 2000 year age) and show great detail,
- Probus 270AD bronze coin showing his portrait and the reverse showing a soldier/or god standing looking left with spear, marcus aurelius Probus was a popular emperor who conquered germania but was eventually killed in a roman army mutiny !
- Constantine 1 330AD bronze coin showing his portrait and on the reverse is 2 captives kneeling under a legions standard (symbolising a roman victory somewhere in the empire) Constantine was the first christian emperor and moved the capitol from rome to constantinople,
- third one is a random one and for you to identify !
