On this sweet little tray, a primitively drawn white dove rises into flight against a brushy, French blue sky. Stark rays alternating with powerful black dots form a graphic frame around the image, and the bright white ground is bounded by cobalt trim lines.

Texture is another important aspect of this piece. It is a pleasure to run your finger over the slightly bumpy surfaces and feel the connection with the artist’s hand.
