- It has excellent detail,
including cities,
towns, finished and unfinished railroads, telegraph lines, and natural
features.
- It locates the Deccan Plateau, making up most of the
southern
part of the country, and it labels Rajpootana (Rajasthan), north of Gondwana and the
Baroda Dominion.
- The legend key identifies presidencies and princely
states.
- The image area measures 29 x 25 cm [11½" x 9¾"].
- An inset shows
the eastern part of India, including the Andaman Islands and
present-day Myanmar (Burma).
- The map was engraved by Fisk & Co. and published
in 1892 by
Hunt & Eaton, New York.
- Condition: This map is in excellent
condition, bright and clean, with no
marks, rips, or tears. There is a horizontal fold, as issued, and the map
is blank on the back, with no printing on the reverse side. Please
