Excellent condition "The Iron Cross A History 1813-1957 hardback book (see pic's for greater detail); plus Silver toned Iron Cross pendant without ribbon or chain (one of the crosses featured on pages 56-57); One side has crown with the letters FW (King Frederick William III of Prussia) with oak leaves and I believe 2 acorns at the bottom in the middle, and date 1813; reverse side has crown at top, the letter W in the middle and the date 1914.  This was a military decoration of the Kingdom of Prussia and later Germany, which was established by King Frederick William III of Prussia and first award March 10, 1813, thus why the date 1813 with FW is on one side.  The reverse side with the date 1914 is the era in which it was issued.  Measures approx 1-1/2" down and 1-1/2" across.  In good condition, however black/dirt visible (see pic's for greater detail)
