OUR POLICIES – Please read if you haven't purchased from us before.
COMPLETE TRANSPARENCY – We pledge to be as open and
honest with our buyers as possible. No weasel words, no evasion,
procrastination or any other such nonsense. We value our 100% positive
feedback above all. We post our lots at bargain prices, safe in the
knowledge that successful bidders will be delighted with their win. In the
unlikely event you should encounter any issue then please, please, please,
contact us – we will sort it out to both parties satisfaction.
CARD CONDITIION – Always a thorny issue and subjective. The following
are the guidelines we adhere to with respect to card grading: -
MINT – the card is in its original packaging and has never been
touched. We never sell mint as we wouldn’t know what the card is!
EXCELLENT – the card has been unpacked and stored, some very light signs of
age may be present but no sign of actual play. This is our preferred
grade.
GOOD – the card shows some slight sign of play or aging – mild tethered
edges perhaps, but not so as you’d notice in general handling of the
card. Higher value, desirable cards might be offered for sale at
this grade.
LESS THAN GOOD – Meh, we won’t even bother to attempt to sell that, well unless
it’s part of an interesting collection (see DAMAGED below)
DAMAGED – something is wrong with the card, significant problem(s) which
will be clearly detailed in the card description
RETURNS – Sadly we are unable to offer general returns on our EBAY
lots. We used to, but fraudulent buyers might (for example) return
47 cards of a 48 card lot with the mysteriously missing card being worth in the
region of $1,000. Now I’m not saying this ever happened, but that
event taught us that general returns via EBAY really do not work for our
lots. In the very unlikely event that you do have an issue with one
of our lots then please contact us. We will work it out and CAN
accept returns on an individual basis. We value our 100% positive
feedback and always endeavour to delight our buyers.
FAKE CARDS – At the peak of Yu-Gi-Oh! Card popularity there was an issue with fake cards. Many of these fakes have now been worked out of the system, but it cannot be denied that the threat still remains.
We carry out stringent validation on text, colour and texture to validate our cards. The acid test for us is the hologram embedded in the bottom right hand corner of the card but, sadly, even this can sometimes be misleading.
We operate a ZERO TOLERANCE policy with respect to fake cards. All those detected are removed from circulation and rendered un-tradeable through the prudent use of fire.
POSTAGE, PACKING AND CUSTOM CHARGES – Some consider our delivery
charges high.
For individual card sales we offer SECOND CLASS, signed for postage in order to
minimise costs while maximising confidence of safe delivery.
Items are packaged for minimal environmental impact allied with appropriate
protection to ensure items arrive with you in the same condition that we
despatch them.
Please re-use, recycle or (in the worst case) dispose of our packaging
responsibly.
Overseas buyers please be aware, we do our level best to smooth boundary
transitions, but you will be liable for any duty charges that might be applied.
