20 zł Protection of Poland’s Eastern Border

Please be kindly informed that on 19 July 2022 Narodowy Bank Polski put into circulation a collector banknote

 Protection of Poland’s Eastern Border with the face value of 20 zł.

On the front of the note on the left, the silhouettes of a Border Guard officer and a Polish Army soldier; beneath, a microprint inscription: OCHRONA POLSKIEJ GRANICY WSCHODNIEJ/NBP/20/ (Protection of Poland’s eastern border/NBP/20).

 In the bottom part, when you tilt the banknote, the number 20 is revealed.

At the top, on the left, the number: 20 and the inscription: DWADZIEŚCIA / ZŁOTYCH (twenty / złoty).

Against the silhouettes, microprinting composed of recurring fragments of: the text of oath taken by Border Guard and Police officers, the text of military oath and of the inscription: WOJSKOPOLSKIESGPOLICJA (PolisharmyBGPolice).

Below the silhouettes, notation of numbering. The centrally stylised map of the eastern part of the territory of the state of Poland; against the map, the image of an F-16 aircraft.

The back of the note centrally, a Police S-70i Black Hawk helicopter in flight over the areas located near Poland’s eastern border; above it, the image of an F-16 aircraft.

On the right, an outline of the north-eastern border of the state of Poland and the image of the Eagle established as the state emblem of the Republic of Poland.

Against the Eagle, diagonal lines in grey and microprinting in the form of recurring inscriptions: NARODOWYBANKPOLSKI/20/OCHRONAPOLSKIEJ GRANICYWSCHODNIEJ (Narodowy Bank Polski/20/Protection of Poland’s Eastern Border).
