Nautilis PLUS iSpindel Relay and Display

• Include an extension for the temperature probe

• Upgrade the Wifi antenna to an 8dbi external antenna with magnetic base, with its own 2m extension - great for reaching that brew shed, or putting the antenna somewhere with better coverage for your router. I can also be used when fermenting inside a fridge or freezer - place the antenna inside along with your fermentation vessel!

This item is the Nautilis PLUS iSpindel relay. It is powered via USB C (as are my iSpindels) and you will need a USB C power cable to power the device (not supplied). A basic wall charger with USB C output is best. These PLUS versions of the device also benefit from a greatly improved HIGH RESOLUTION LCD screen that displays excellent detail and vivid colours.

These are amazing devices and will improve the use of your iSpindel by providing a local display of your data and boosting the WiFi range by utilising the attached WiFi antenna. You can even extend the antenna (message for details!). Some customers have mounted an antenna on the outside of their brewshed, for example!

• I love the iSpindel and am the #1 seller of them on eBay and use one for ALL my brews. However, I have great home WiFi - others do not! If you struggle to get your iSpindel to talk to your home network, the Nautilis PLUS is the ideal solution. It provides a local WiFI network for up to 2 iSpindels. They connect to this localised WiFi network, and the Nautilis PLUS then resends this data out via the stronger WiFi antenna on the side of the device. No more struggling to break your signal out from your brew fridge, through the stainless-steel fermenter you love or from the brewshed at the bottom of your garden (assuming your garden isn't HUGE !!). Boost this even more with the antenna upgrade!
• The signal strength of the iSpindel WiFi relay has been tested by placing the iSpindel inside a 2mm thick steel barrel with a 6mm lid (without a rubber seal), attached using a stainless-steel clamp system, and then the barrel placed inside a closed freezer (a pretty brutal WiFi test!). The connection to the Nautilis PLUS relay was strong and stable!
• Not only will the Nautilis PLUS receive and send your iSpindel data over stronger WiFi, but it will also display your current data on a full colour high quality LCD screen. This gives you the best of both worlds… the ability to continue viewing your data in apps such as UbiDots, BrewSpy, Brewfather, Monitor.Beer, Grainfather, Brewers Friend, BrewBench etc, but you also get to see the data in full technicolour right there by your brew! Or you can chose to not use ANY online services and just stick to the local display - 100% your choice!
• Within the Nautilis PLUS config, there is the ability to input the Original Starting Gravity for each iSpindel and the display will then show the current ABV% of the brew. 
• Providing the strong Nautilis PLUS WiFi next to the iSpindel means the iSpindel will consume less power when broadcasting its data. This will improve the battery life of your devices. The current battery level of each iSpindel is displayed on the Nautilis PLUS to allow easy monitoring too!
• As well as handling the iSpindel data, the Nautilis PLUS also has a temperature sensor of its own. Chose either to have this built into the Nautilis to measure current ambient temperature around the unit, or I can fit a 1m extension to this sensor for a small additional cost (just chose that option in the listing). This extension enables you to put the sensor inside your brew fridge, for example, and monitor the temperature inside while the Nautilis PLUS sits outside and in full view.
• But there’s more…! The Nautilis PLUS also includes an alarm module inside the device. You can set hi/low values for SG and the Nautilis PLUS temperature sensor that will cause the alarm to sound when the data goes above/below these set levels. Great to let you know when you brew has reached a given SG, to help set cold crash temps or as a ‘safety net’ around other temperature control setups such as an inkbird.

It is very easy to setup – and will be a breeze for anyone who has experience with an iSpindel. If you buy a bundle, I will preconfigure the Nautilis and iSpindels to talk to each other - so NOTHING for you to do!

I am building and selling these devices with the full agreement of the inventor and software developer. He lists items for sale here on eBay, posting from Croatia. I pass some of the sale costs to him to ensure support and ongoing development of the Nautilis range (lots of exciting new features are in the works, and I am happily assisting him with alpha/beta testing!).

A USB C power supply will be required that's able to provide at least 1A. Most standard USB C phone chargers or wall sockets will be fine. Some of the fast chargers are not supported as they try to be too clever with their power settings. Basic is best - I find a USB C cable in a standard USB wall socket works great!
